The IRIS system (currently version 11.02) will be updated to version 13.01 on September 2, 2026. This update will include changes to how IRIS looks and minor changes to the navigation. There are important bug fixes in the software update, as well as additional features that may be implemented in the future.
Please plan ahead with your submissions – the IRIS software will be offline briefly on the morning of 9/2 while we make the update; more info will be forthcoming in future announcements.
In the coming days, we will be inviting the research community to try out the new update and announcing live demo sessions where IRB staff will walk through the changes and answer questions.
